It seems that every summer there are all sorts of events and conferences that companies like to be involved in.  These kinds of events range from informational conferences, to hosting or sponsoring events, to having a booth at a business fair.  So while you are out there learning or promoting your company, why not have some fun with it and stand out from the rest?

Themes

Having a booth at an event gives you the perfect opportunity to have some branding fun.  Step outside of the box and do not just simply brand using your typical branding.  Expand this into some sort of fun theme.  This theme should somehow relate to the location or event itself.  For example if you have a booth at a waterfront resort, go with a Hawaiian or Caribbean theme.  Do not let your theme stop just with the print advertisements.  Instead, put together personalized workwear that is related to your theme of choice.

Out of Town Conferences

If you are lucky enough to travel with fellow employees to a conference in another city use it as an opportunity to advertise.  Invest some money into branded corporate workwear to wear during the events at your conference.  Not only will it show that you belong to a group, but it will advertise your company to those around you.  Who knows the connections you might make there and putting a brand to your name may help people remember you or your company more.

Just remember to keep it fun, personable but professional at the same time.  Do not let those themes or branding run too far away from what your main goal is for your company.
