Who does not love some friendly competition? With the bright sunny weather outside, there are so many sporting opportunities to take advantage of.
Official Teams
If there are enough interested employees in your company you can enroll as a sports team in your city. You could even try convincing some of your local competition to enroll for some good fun. Be creative and come up with a fun name for your team and brand your team with embroidered shirts.
If your company does not have the time to commit to an entire season of sporting events, there is always the option of participating weekend event. If there are no weekend sporting challenges happening, create one. Invite companies all over the town and give other companies a chance to sponsor the event. Invite companies to create embroidered workwear for the competition. You can even offer a prize to the best team outfits.
Internal Teams
If there are enough people in your company you can have internal sporti
ng events or challenges. Split your office into two teams. Have each team brainstorm a creative name and design personalized sports wear to compete in.
If possible, end work earlier on Friday to compete in a friendly challenge with a pizza dinner. If Fridays are not an option, meet up on a Saturday or Sunday for some fun and games. You can create a series of challenges from athletic to just fun. Some ideas would be football, badminton, swimming challenges, rollerblading, bowling, scavenger hunt, and capture the flag.
Keep the importance on friendly competition and everyone will be sure to enjoy themselves. Whether it is cheering from the sidelines or competing as part of the team, it will be a summer that your company will not soon forget.
